Blackheads are mainly caused by poor diet, clogged glands or pores, oily skin, and hair.
Pimples are formed when the pores on your body get covered with sebum (secretion of sebaceous glands) and dead skin cells. The major difference between pimples and whiteheads is whether the pores are open or shut. When these pores are open, the covering of sebum and dead skin cells oxidizes on that open pore and interacts with the oxygen turning it dark black.
#1. Avoid Using Pore Cleaning Strips.
Most of the people use pore cleaning strips to pull out the blackheads. But practically, these pricey pore cleaning strips make the skin dry, irritating and fragile.
Instead of wasting too much money on pricey strips, head on to the age old solution to this common problem. Yes, all you need is a lemon, salt, and warm water. Effective, cheapest and these easily available ingredients can make your blackheads vanish within a week or two.
#2. Making Solution.
Take a small bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of sea salt, half teaspoon of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of water. Apply the mixture on your face by soaking cotton pads in the mixture and applying on your face. Pay special attention to the places with blackheads and where they tend to pop up most.
#3. Massage Over Your Blackheads.
After properly applying, massage the application by the gentle rub of your finger tips in a circular motion. keep rubbing for at least 2-5 minutes before rinsing it off with lukewarm water.
Wait for few minutes then wash your face again with cold water. This will close the pores keeping all the oil, dirt and grime from building up and clogging your pores again.
You can even use this lemon-salt scrub over your rest of the face. It is safe for all skin types and it polishes your skin incredibly. However, it is recommended not to use this scrub 1-2 times a week and avoid direct sunlight after application because lemon juice attracts harmful radiations resulting from the burning of your skin.
Whatcha waiting for? Go grab a lemon and wash your blackheads out of your gentle skin.
